Marseille is one of the oldest cities in France. It is the third largest metropolitan area in France. If you want to travel from London to Marseille by train then you have two options/routes. One route is via Lille and other is via Paris. You have to make a single change at Paris or at Lille to take another train to Marseille. London Marseille Train via Lille: Take Eurostar from St. Pancras station that will take you to Lille Europe station. After that go to the TGV platform and take high speed TGV train to Marseille. Journey time for this route is around 6 hrs which is longer than Paris route, but if you don’t want to change stations than it is best.
